An unmanned aerial vehicle fired two missiles at a hideout of terrorists in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province killing at least nine suspected militants. Several people were also injured in the attack.
The drone strike razed the militant compound to ground near the Pak-Afghan border in Khyber tribal region.
The militants killed in the attack said to be affiliated with outlawed Lashkar-e-Islam militant group and banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
According to sources, seven key commanders of TTP were among those killed in the US drone attack.
