Nisar likely to be replaced if counters Aitzaz’s remarks: sources

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan, after a conflict between the Interior Minister and PPP lawmaker Aitzaz Ahsan, is pondering upon taking back the Ministry of Interior from Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, ARY News reported.

Sources told that PMLN leaders considered to be the part of anti-Nisar lobby, are holding meetings with the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the name of Abdul Qadir Baloch is under consideration for the slot, however a final announcement in this regard is likely to be made in the next 24 hours.

It was further reported that the situation still depends upon Chaudhry Nisar Ali khan, who is adamant to respond to Aitzaz Ahsan’s remarks about him and his family, by holding a press conference.

It is being anticipated that if the Interior Minister holds the press conference, despite of repeated efforts by the PM and others against it, he will have to eventually lose his ministry.

Meanwhile, PM Nawaz Sharif has also summoned Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan at the PM House tomorrow morning, where a final discussion is expected between the two leaders.
