Nisar says BBC report on MQM ‘reinforced fears’

According to details, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday separately called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and British High Commissioner Philip Barton.

Talking to media after meeting the British HC, he said that the Government of Pakistan has sought the assistance UK authorities in reaching the facts.

Commenting on recent BBC report against MQM, the minister said that it is vital significance in view of the confessional statements of terrorists under custody in the country.

He also told that discussion was held with Mr. Philip Barton regarding the Imran Farooq murder case.

Earlier to this, the interior minister called on PM Nawaz Sharif during which he informed the premier about advancements in Imran Farooq murder case and subsequent contacts made with the UK authorities.

Sources told that the meeting decided to take notice of the BBC report.
