Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday took notice of the killing of Sohail Ahmed, who was an activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
The interior minister sought a report on the matter from the DG Rangers Sindh and the IG of Sindh Police.
While extending his heartfelt sympathies to MQM leadership over its workers’ killing, Nisar clearly stated that the government will not allow extra-judicial killing of anyone.
Earlier today, police found a dead body from Mochko area, the deceased was identified as Sohail Ahmed – an activist of MQM.
The post-mortem report of the deceased indicated that he was killed almost a day ago.
Following the incident, MQM has also called for a shutter-down strike across Sindh on Thursday.
