Federal Minister for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali said sit-in mongers had once again failed to do conspiracy against the government. They had made offensive remarks against parliamentarians by calling them robbers and thieves, he said.

“Some opposition forces are again getting united to undermine Pakistan’s economic growth, but no conspiracy will be let successful,” he said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad along another PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz.

The federal minister said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was pursuing double standard by preventing probe of its leaders and only focusing on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Daniyal Aziz said Chairman PTI Imran Khan, who had been lecturing against off-shore companies, himself owned off-shore companies.

It is pertinent here to mention that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) is getting ready to stage protest against the incumbent government at the Mall Road, Lahore, against ‘undelivered’ justice in Model Town incident. PTI has vowed support for PAT protest and has said to send a delegation in their protest to express support. Several PAT workers were killed in the clash that ensued between police and PAT activists on June 17, 2014.

The PML-N leaders said a lot of time had been wasted under-the-table of protests and sit-ins. Some forces were once again trying to create anarchy in the country.

“Opposition is doing the politics of lies and deceptions but the people will reject them like the past,” the PML-N leaders said.

They also said Pakistan’s progress on economic front was being recognized internationally. Inclusion of Pakistan in emerging markets index was a great achievement.
