'No load-shedding during Pakistan-India match'

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif on Friday advised Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) to provide uninterrupted power supply to the consumers during Pakistan-India World Cup match, scheduled to be played on Sunday (February 15), ARY News reported.

Earlier, keeping in view, the hype of high-voltage clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan, K-Electric has decided to exempt consumers of Karachi from regular load shedding of electricity.

Pakistan will take on India in their opening game of World Cup 2015 at Adelaide Oval. The match will begin at 8:30am Pakistan Standard Time (PKT).
