Addressing a press conference here, Hashmi hailed the constitution of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and said no district-level president of the party could be expelled.
He told that PML-N did not field any of its candidates against him in by-elections to be held. Hashmi, however, termed the PTI’s show-cause notice mere a piece of paper. He said he received the show-cause notice from Jehangir Tareen.
Imran Khan had suspended membership of Hashmi as PTI president following his torrent of criticism against the party and its leadership in connection to sit-ins in Islamabad, going on for over a month.
