"No one innocent", Rabbani calls for accountability across the board

KARACHI: Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani on Wednesday said, “No one is innocent” and called for accountability across the board, ARY News reported.

Addressing participants of a seminar held at a federal university here, Rabbani questioned, “If politicians have remained involved in corruption then how innocent is the civil-military bureaucracy?”

He demanded that everyone should be held accountable.

The chairman Senate admitted involvement of PPP workers in corruption, while also criticized the dictators in the same breath.

“The dictatorial regimes in the country omitted the history of Pakistan from the curriculum,” he said.

A few months earlier, Rabbani had broken into tears upon voting in favor of military courts to which he said was “against his conscience”.
