DJ Butt says PTI still owes him Rs 80 million from dharna days

According to details, the PTI was due to pay Asif Nazar Butt, better known as DJ Butt, a sum of Rs 140 million on account of musical arrangements at PTI dharna in Islamabad that continued for 126 days.

The PTI has so far paid Rs 60 million, while Rs 80 million is still outstanding.

Talking to ARY News, DJ Butt said an amount of Rs 680,000 per day was decided with the PTI for each day of their rally. However, I didn’t have any cognizance that the public gathering would span over 126 days, said Butt.

He said his sound system suffered damage due to its functioning during rain.

He informed that Imran Khan had designated Aleem Khan and Shoaib Siddiqui for payments, but they were not picking up their phones.

On the other hand, PTI leader Naeem-ul-Haq said DJ Butt should immediately come to meet him so his issue could be resolved at the earliest.

“DJ Butt was the hero of our dharna and his services for the PTI could never be forgotten,” he mentioned.
