Octogenarian Sindh CM to get new helicopter

KARACHI: Sindh Cabinet on Friday approved purchasing of a new helicopter for Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, ARY News reported.

The approval was given in the Sindh Cabinet meeting today at the Chief Minister House.

According to ARY News correspondent Kashif Hussain, the cost of the helicopter is said to be Rs 1.7 billion which will be bought from the Italian company.

Sindh chief minister already has a helicopter which he uses for official visits.

Apart from the decision regarding helicopter purchasing, CM Sindh told the Cabinet meeting that a survey would be conducted to build 6,000 new homes in Tharparkar.
