Off-shore companies, foreign accounts and properties are unethical: Tehmina Durrani

Women’s right activist and author Tehmina Durrani has spoken out against the Panama Papers’ controversy by stating that all foreign and local wealth should be returned to the nation, ARY News reported.

Durrani, wife of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has spoken out against the recent Panama Papers controversy and stated that it would be in the best interests of everyone if all wealth stashed abroad would be returned to the country.

“Even if off-shore companies are legal, they are unethical to me,” she said in a series of tweets.

Earlier, she had also denied media reports that she also held ownership to off-shore companies or possessing a large amount of wealth abroad.

Apart from being the wife of Shahbaz Sharif, Tehmina Durrani is also known for being the author of the bestseller ‘My Feudal Lord’ and also a women’s rights activist.
