Officials on alert as govt issues swine flu advisory

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Health on Monday issued advisory over possible emergence of H1N1, commonly known as swine flu, in the country, ARY News reported.

The advisory asked officials at borders, airports and seaport to remain alert about possible spread of swine flu. The authorities have ordered making Influenza Task Force functional at district level as a precautionary measure.

All affected patients will be screened and treated accordingly.

The advisory asked people to maintain distance with those affected with swine flu.

The government has ordered officials concerned to ensure cleanliness and medicines to cure the disease.
