OGRA proposes cut of Rs. 10.75/ltr for petrol

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Thursday proposed to reduce petrol rates by Rs 10.75 per liter from February 1, ARY News reported.

In a summary sent to the Petroleum Ministry, OGRA has suggested decrease of Rs 8.80 per liter in high speed diesel,  high octane blending component by Rs. 14.58 per liter.

Similarly, reduction of Rs. 12.92 per liter is also proposed in the rates of kerosene oil while decrease of Rs. 11.84 per liter for light speed diesel.

Currently the petroleum price stood as follows, High Octane Bleeding Component (HOBC) at 88.90, Petrol at 78.28, High Speed Diesel (HSD) at 86.23, Light Speed Diesel (LDO) at 67.50 and Kerosine Oil at 71.92.
