OGRA recommends increase in petroleum prices from Nov 1

ISLAMABAD: The prices of petroleum products are set to rise as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority on Friday recommended an increase in price with effect from November 1,

According to the recommendation, the price of petrol is expected to increase by Rs. 2.29 per litre. This will increase the price from Rs. Rs.64.27 to Rs 66.56. 

OGRA also recommended to increase the price of kerosene by Rs. 6.75. Also the whereas the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) is expected to be raised by Rs. 2, while the price of low-speed diesel (LSD) could witness an increase by Rs. 6.40.

The recommendation have been sent to the Ministry of Finance, but the final decision will be taken by the Prime Minister.
