The blast ripped through the busy Taj Road. The blast was so powerful as it destroyed nearby vehicles and reduced glasses of buildings into sherds.
According to initial reports, the bomb was planted in a vehicle stationed near Taj Road.
The injured were moved to District Civil Hospital.
Police reached the spot and cordoned off the area for investigation.
