The members of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) staged walkout from the house after Speaker Agha Sadruddin Durrani denied them to move the resolution against the MQM Chief.
Balochistan Assembly on Saturday unanimously passed a resolution in condemning MQM Chief Altaf Hussain over his speech in which he had criticized the army.
PTI had earlier announced to move a resolution of condemnation in Sindh Assembly. Talking to media PTI MPA Samar Ali Khan had announced to table a resolution in Sindh Assembly against Altaf Hussain.
PML-F leader Nusrat Sehar Abbasi had also announced to back the resolution.
Veteran parliamentarian of MQM Syed Sardar Ahmed had vowed to resist the resolution in the house against the MQM chief at any cost.
“We will see how they table the resolution,” he said.
Resolution against Altaf Hussain in Punjab Assembly
The leader of opposition in Punjab Assembly, PTI’s Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed has tabled a resolution to condemn Altaf Hussain in Punjab Assembly today.
The PTI has already tabled a resolution in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
He said Altaf daily uses foul language and says sorry after it. He said the statements against the national security institutions should be ended once for all.
