Opposition’s campaign died down before it started, says Rana

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah on Friday said that opposition’s drive against the government over Panama Papers leaks has died down even before it started, ARY News reported.

Talking to media outside the Punjab Assembly, he said that accountability should not be centered around a particular party or individual, rather process should encompass everyone.

The minister known for not missing any opportunity to criticize the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) said that those interested in dance parties should visit clubs and halls instead of holding rallies.

He claimed that they have identified five people involved in mistreatment of women during PTI rally in Lahore, adding that witnessing the fun at PTI gatherings, many hoodlums gather and harass women.

Rana Sanaullah said that the past of opposition parties was in front of us all and the new alliance between Tehreek-i-Insaf and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is aimed at causing instability in the country.

He decried that opposition is creating an environment in which they can boycott the inquiry over the Panama Papers.
