PIA, an already loss-making state carrier, has been facing increasing criticism after its ATR-42 suffered engine problems on December 7 soon after takeoff and crashed into the mountainous region of Chitral killing 47 people on board.
Even after the deadly crash, media have reported several delays and issues with the airline on the runways and engines in several cities.
