PA resolution wants Shiv Sena be declared ‘terrorist outfit’

LAHORE: A resolution was submitted in Punjab Assembly today against hardline Hindu group Shiv Sena for violent disruption of a meeting between Pakistani cricket board officials with their Indian counterparts in Mumbai, ARY News reported.

The resolution was submitted by the Pakistan People’s Party MPA Faiza Malik.

The resolution demanded the Pakistani government to take notice of the violent activities  and approach the United Nations to get the hardline Hindu party declared a “terrorist outfit”.

The members of Shiv Sena stormed the BCCI office at the Cricket Centre in Mumbai to protest against presence of Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyar Khan.

Khan and Chief PCB executive committee Najam Sethi have been in India in a bid to convince the BCCI to confirm the bilateral cricket series in December.
