Pak-India series subjected to Indian govt approval: PCB Chief

LAHORE: Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar Khan has said that the bilateral series between Pakistan and India will take place if the Indian government allows it, ARY News reports.

Shahryar Khan, speaking at a press conference here in Lahore on Monday, stated that cricket and politics are two different things which should not be mixed.

PCB Chairman also said that several countries including Ireland and  Hong Kong have shown their interest in playing cricket in the country.  have shown interest to play in Pakistan.

“Lahore is preferred over Karachi for security reasons by the cricketing boards”, PCB chairman said.

It should be noted that Zimbabwe became the first side to tour Pakistan in six years after the attack on Sri Lankan team back in 2009.
