According to details, the permission was refused on the grounds that owing to inadequate security and the fragile law and order situation, the Pak Sarzameen party could not be allowed to hold their public gathering at Bagh-e-Jinnah on April 24.

The Quaid-e-Azam management board also stated that no party could be allowed to hold a public gathering at the venue owing to the law and order situation.

Mustafa Kamal, Anees Qaimkhani and other former MQM members who have joined hands to form a new party named Pak Sarzameen party, had announced that they would conduct their first show of strength at Bagh-e-Jinnah on April 24. Activists and supporters of Pak Sarzameen party have already clashed with MQM workers in Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad.

Mustafa Kamal and other members of Pak Sarzameen party have hit out hard against MQM chief Altaf Hussain and blamed him for inciting violence in Karachi and obtaining funds from Indian intelligence agency RAW.
