Pakistan 'A' accumulates 314 against Kenya as Sharjeel scores 138

Opener Sharjeel Khan, who is named in the World Cup’s preliminary squad, played a brilliant 138-run knock in the second match of the five match series against visiting Kenya on Monday to help Pakistan ‘A’ post a huge 314-run total on board at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Batting first, Pakistan has accumulated 314-4 in allotted 45 overs. Sharjeel smashed 12 boundaries and nine sixes in his 120-ball 138-run knock. Skipper Sami Aslam, who scored an unbeaten century in the first match lost his wicket early after scoring only 19 runs.

Fawad Alam scored 52 runs while Babar Azam scored unbeaten 64. Kenyan bowler Lucas Oluoch captured two wickets.
