The first game of the four match test series between Pakistan and England will start from Thursday at the prestigious Lord’s ground.

Pakistan had last toured England back in 2010. The tour was mired by the spot-fixing scandal after which Pakistani cricketers Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir were handed jail sentences and were banned from playing international for five years.

Amir will be making his return to the longest format of the game at the same venue where his professional career came to a screeching halt.
