Pakistan announces probable squad for Australia Tests

Former captain Younis Khan who was denied a place in the one-day squad has been named in the Test probables for matches against Australia.

Taufeeq Umar is the surprise inclusion in the squad. Umar makes a comeback to the national fold after last played a Test for Pakistan in 2012.

Injured Mohammad Hafeez was expected to miss the entire series has also been named in the squad.

The final 15 members of the team will be announced after four-day match between Pakistan-A  and Australia, which will begin from Wednesday (tomorrow).

The two-Test series will begin on October 22, 2014 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Probable squad: Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Taufeeq Umar, Shan Masood, Sami Aslam, Misbah-ul-Haq (c), Younis Khan, Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Harris Sohail, Mohammad Talha, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Ehsan Adil, Attaullah, Sarfraz Ahmed, Zulfiqar Babar, Yasir Shah, Raza Hassan.
