Pakistan Army rescues US mountaineer

According to a statement by the ISPR, an American mountaineer was rescued by Pakistan Army from the K-2 base camp.

Pakistan Army aviation helicopters rescued Mr.Robert Jackson from the base camp of mountain K-2. The mountaineer was part of a 27 member team which had arrived in Pakistan on 16th June to take part in the K-2 expedition.  He suffered height sickness enroute to the K-2 summit, hence he was rescued by Pakistan army and taken to Skardu.
