Pakistan clinch fifth successive win in Blind World T20

DELHI: Pakistan defeated Nepal by ten wickets in their Blind World Twenty20 fixture at Delhi on Friday, ARY News reported.

Pakistan won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first.

Nepal, batting first, managed 116/8 in their 20 overs. Sunil Rana Magar made 40 runs off 40 balls with the help of seven fours while Ramesh Bahadur Baniya scored 15 runs from 31 balls with four boundaries to his name after scoring a boundary.

Padam Bahadur Badaila and Lok Bahadur Thapa also scored ten runs each for the team.

Sana Ullah Khan grabbed two wickets for Pakistan while Riasat Khan and Muhammad Ayaz took a wicket each as well.

Pakistan, chasing 117 runs to win, chased the target easily in 7.5 overs with 10 wickets to spare. Both openers Mati Ullah and Riasat Khan made half centuries for the team.

Riasat Khan made 56 runs from 20 balls with a boundary and a six to his name while Mati Ullah made 50 runs from 35 deliveries with the help of nine fours.

This is Pakistan’s fifth successive win in the competition.

They started their campaign by beating New Zealand by 10 wickets and went on to defeat England by 97 runs.

The team’s biggest victory came against India as they won the match by seven wickets. They beat Sri Lanka by five wickets.
