Pakistan condemns suicide bombing in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemns suicide terrorist attack at Al-Anoud mosque in Dammam during Friday prayers, which resulted in the loss of three innocent lives and injuries to five people, ARY News has learnt.

In a statement issued by Pakistan Foreign Ministry, it conveyed Pakistan’s heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pray to Almighty Allah to give them fortitude to bear this irreparable loss

“Pakistan shares the grief of the brotherly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over this cowardly and deliberate attack against innocent civilians”, the statement added.

Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

A suicide bomber disguised in women’s clothing blew himself up at the entrance to a Saudi Shiite mosque during Friday prayers killing three people.

The Islamic State jihadist group claimed the attack, the second in a week.

According to details, the explosion went off just as the attacker’s car stopped at a parking lot near the Shia mosque. The explosion killed the attacker as well as three others and wounded five people.
