Pakistan cricket team not to tour India without govt consent: PM

According to details, PM Sharif directed concerned authorities not to fix cricket team’s tour to India without government’s go ahead.

He also asked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) not to engage in any kind of talks with their Indian counterparts with regard to restoration of cricketing ties between the two countries.

The premier clearly stated that Pakistan cricket team will not tour India without government’s permission.

Earlier, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had said he will oppose Pakistan cricket team’s tour to India.

“I will oppose India’s offer of inviting Pakistan to the country,” said the interior minister, vowing to raise the matter with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
