Pakistan Cup: ICC conducts dope tests of six cricketers

FAISALABAD: On the directives of the International Cricket Council (ICC), doping tests of six Pakistani cricketers conducted during the Pakistan Cup being played here, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

The cricket officials conducted doping tests of six cricketers Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Sami, Khurram Manzoor, Sami Aslam, Bilawal Bhatti and Mohammad Hassan.

The PCB has introduced a revamped domestic one-day tournament, called the Pakistan Cup has replaced the Pentangular Cup. The tournament being played between five teams since April 19 in Faisalabad.

The teams representing, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan provinces and federal capital Islamabad contesting in Pakistan Cup.

In tournament the process of picking players has been altered replacing the traditional selection process with a draft system.
