Talking to the state-run APP news agency, the minister said that Pakistan was serious in talking to India but it semed as if India wasn’t interested. He said that preconditions for resuming the dialogue process were not acceptable.
The minister said that the Modi government’s “negative attitude” was disrupting the peace process and fanning tensions in the region. The minister also said that India was trying to harm Pakistan’s economy by opposing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
Mr Asif also alleged that India was involved in terrorist activities inside Pakistan.
