‘Pakistan eyes to boost trade with Central European countries’

Talking to Hungarian Ambassador Istvan Szabo in Islamabad, he invited Hungary to invest in Pakistan in agriculture, information technology, housing and energy sectors.

The Minister said after getting GSP Plus status, Pakistan’s exports to Europe had increased by Rs 76.7 billion, which is 18 percent higher as compared to last year.

He said many multinational companies from Hungary were taking interest in making investment in Pakistan and their business delegation will soon visit the country.

The Hungarian Ambassador acknowledged that Pakistan provides the most profitable business opportunities in the region.
