Pakistan-IMF talks to begin from tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and International Monetary Fund (IMF) will start discussions from tomorrow in Dubai on country’s economic performance under the cobbling together of fourth and fifth review under $6.64 billion Extended Fund Facility (EFF), ARY News reported.

According to Finance Ministry sources, during the meeting issues pertaining to the previous economic review will be discussed.

IMF did not release the tranche due to inconclusiveness of fourth review as the economic team failed to fulfill the agreed condition. IMF asked for electric tariff hike which wasn’t possible under those circumstances.
