Pakistan, India have to hold talks for normalizing bilateral ties: US

Deputy Spokesperson of US State Department Mark Toner, in a media briefing on Monday, said that the country is fully aware of the statements being issued by the officials of Pakistan and India against each other.

“Both South Asian countries have to come to the negotiation table if they are to normalize their bilateral relations,” Toner said.

He reiterated that Pakistan is taking effective measures against terrorists and has achieved successes.

The US spokesman said that the United States focusing on boosting Pakistan’s capabilities against terrorism. He added that Pakistan has to take indiscriminate actions against all terrorist organizations.

Toner added that  the joint military exercises between Pakistan and Russia and India and United States are not a part of any great game in the region.
