Pakistan Navy ready to respond to any aggression: Admiral Zakaullah

KARACHI: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah  has said that if the war is imposed the Pakistan Navy is fully capable to hit back with all its might and respond to any aggression.

The Naval Chief visited various forward posts of the Pakistan Navy at Creeks area to review the combat readiness of Pakistan Navy, and observed the operational readiness of the troops deployed on forward bases.

He reiterated that our commitment for peace must not be construed as weakness. He said that Pakistan Navy is fully capable to hit back with all its might if the war is imposed.

COMMANDER PAKISTAN FLEET REVIEWS NAVAL READINESS

Commander Pakistan Fleet, Vice Admiral Arifullah Hussaini also visited Pakistan Navy Fleet units at sea today and reviewed the operational preparedness.

According to ISPR, the admiral showed satisfaction over Pakistan Navy’s fleet readiness in keeping vigilant watch over country’s maritime frontiers. He also mentioned about the ongoing Naval Exercise RABAT in which PAF fighters are also participating.

He expressed satisfaction over the Pakistan Navy’s platforms and troops who are maintaining continuous vigil at sea and in creek and coastal areas in the wake of prevailing situation.

Admiral Hussaini interacted with officers and men aboard ship appreciated their morale, preparedness and resolve to defend maritime frontiers of the country. He said that the Pakistan Navy is professionally capable and fully prepared to counter any challenge.

“Pakistan is a peace loving country and wants peace and prosperity in the region. However, any act of aggression will be answered befittingly,” he asserted.
