Pakistan not to allow its soil for terrorism activities: FO

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office spokesperson on Friday stated that Pakistan will not allow its soil to be used against any country for terrorism, ARY News reported.

In her weekly news briefing in Islamabad, Ms. Tasneem Aslam said joint efforts were needed to overcome the scourge of terrorism.

She said the armed forces were successfully carrying out operation against terrorists across the country, especially in tribal region.

Ms. Tasneem informed that 12 citizens were martyred due to unprovoked firing by Indian forces on Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary.

She said Iran had not provided details of terrorists infiltrating into its territory through Pakistan border. If Iran has proofs, it should provide to the border management authorities, she added.

The FO spokesperson said Pakistan had no knowledge of banned TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid’s presence in Pakistan.
