Pakistan pummel Bangladesh in Women’s World T20

NEW DELHI: After India, Pakistan on Thursday pummeled Bangladesh by nine wickets in the ICC Women’s World T20 clash here at Delhi’s Feroze Shah Kotla stadium, ARY News reported.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistani bowlers’ measured bowling restricted Bangladesh to 113 runs at a loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.

Pakistan chased down this moderate total at a loss of one wicket. Building a 99-run partnership for the second wicket, Sidra Amin scored her career’s first half-century.

Bisma Maroof also hit an unbeaten 43 runs and led her team to victory against Bangladesh.

With today’s win, Pakistan has secured third place on the points table with its four points in Group B of ICC Women world T20.
