Pakistan is safe, I will establish a boxing academy here: Amir Khan

British boxer of Pakistan origin Amir Khan on Sunday said that Pakistan is a safe country; he doesn’t have any security apprehensions here and also announced that he will set up a boxing academy. 

Amir Khan, who has arrived here in Pakistan, said that he lamented the Peshawar school attack, which left 150 dead, and added that he has come to Pakistan to show solidarity with the victims and their families.

After the horrific attack on Peshawar school, Amir condemned the attack and announced to donate his expensive $45,000 pair of shorts, which he wore during the big bout against Alexander, to help rebuild the school.

He visited Data Darbar on Sunday and prayed for the victims of the attack, their families and for Pakistan.
