Pakistan set New Zealand 480-run target

ABU DHABI: Pakistan set a 480-run target for New Zealand after declaring their second innings at 175-2 on the fourth day of the first Test in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Mohammad Hafeez completed his hundred and was not out on 101 for his sixth Test century while Sarfraz Ahmed was 13 not out.

That gave Pakistan a strong position for a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series.

Resuming at 15-0, Pakistan lost Azhar Ali for 23 and Younis Khan for 28.
