Pakistan team dedicate India win to parents allowing daughters to play cricket

NEW DELHI: Pakistan women’s team has dedicated their win against India to all the parents who allow and support their daughters to play cricket, ARY News reported.

Pakistan beat Indian by two runs on the Duckworth-Lewis method in their Group B Women’s World T20 fixture at Delhi today. The girls in green put up a great show in today’s match against arch-rival.

Pakistan women squad, in a video posted online, cheered the victory and asked the fans whether they watched their fast bowling.

The skipper Sana Mir dedicated today’s win to all the parents who allow their daughters to play cricket and support them.

The message was followed by a loud chant ‘Pakistan Zindabad‘ in support of the men’s squad due to take on India at Eden Gardens.
