Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan had earlier announced that the team will attend a fitness camp, which he also referred as boot camp, in Abbottabad after which they will leave for the tour to England.

It should be noted that several players failed to pass the fitness test which was taken ahead of the fitness camp.

Those players, who did not undergo the fitness test, have been advised to participate in the rehabilitation programme whereas former Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad will not be a part of the camp.

Mickey Arthur, newly-appointed head coach of Pakistan team,  is expected to join the team at the end of this month.

Pakistan will play four tests, five one day internationals and a Twenty20 international in its tour to England.
