Addressing an election rally here on Monday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman said that the country has no future whose leader is corrupt. Khan went on to say that he will stand with the nation and will empower the people.

The PTI chairman lauded the west for its effective municipal system.

Khan further said that the people of Pakistan want democracy and not PM Nawaz’s monarchy. He claimed that the martial law in Turkey would have been successful if Sharif would have been in power there.

“The prime minister should not consider himself above the accountability process. We will come out on the streets if the prime minister does not present himself for accountability,” the PTI chairman.

“We will stage such a protest which has never been seen in Pakistan,” he added.

The Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman said that accountability process will take place if Barrister Sultan Mehmood is elected Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

“A thief will never hold another thief accountability. Don’t think corruption will end as soon as PTI comes into power,” Khan said.

The PTI chairman said that Ishaq Dar had confessed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s wealth and money was laundered outside Pakistan. He had that the accountability process starts from the upper part of the hierarchy.

He asked why National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is not hearing the 13 corruption cases of PM Nawaz Sharif.

The party chief said that Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif’s claims of holding former president Asif Ali Zardari accountable were unfulfilled.
