Pakistan to contact Afghanistan for arrest of Mullah Fazlullah, Shahid

Sources told on Monday that Pakistan has decided to contact the Afghan Government pertaining to the arrest of fleeing terrorists from here, including the TTP chief Maulvi Fazlullah and spokesperson, Shahidullah Shahid.

Official sources told that PM’s aide on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz and special adviser, Tariq Fatimi have been tasked with holding talks with the Afghan Government.

A high-level delegation will soon be travelling to Kabul in this regard.

Mullah Fazlullah was named as the TTP chief after the killing of Hakimullah Mehsud in a drone attack in November 2013, since then he hiding in Afghanistan, while there have been reports that the TTP chief is operating his organization from Kunar.

Moreover, Shahidullah Shahid is nominated as the prime accused in the Karachi airport attack case, he is also wanted to the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in numerous such cases.
