“We are winning this war against armed terrorists,” said the prime minister while speaking during his day-long visit to North Waziristan.
PM Sharif said Pakistan would become a peaceful country once and for all after winning this battle.
The enemies we are facing in the war always attack and retaliate from the back, he added. The premier was of the view that Pakistan army was fighting the battle with gallantry.
He said: “Those martyred in the war are our heroes. Pakistan Army soldiers’ sacrificed their lives for future of the nation.”
I also congratulate the chief of army staff on success in fight against terrorists, he said.
The Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif welcomed the PM on his arrival to Miranshah. PM Nawaz was briefed on operation Zarb-e-Azb and IDPs on his arrival.
