Pakistani forces rescue Afghan troop surrounded by terrorists near Pak-Afghan border

RAWALPINDI: Pakistani armed forces on Tuesday rescued an Afghan troop who got surrounded by the terrorists close to Pak-Afghan border, ARY News reported.

The spokesperson of the Pakistan Army told military action was underway against terrorists closed to Pak-Afghan border by the Afghan forces, it was then that terrorists surrounded an Afghan troop.

At this, the Afghan army had asked the Pakistani security forces to rescue the soldier.

Shortly afterwards, a Pak-Army unit intervened and successfully evacuated the soldiers from terrorists’ grasp.

The injured soldier was shifted to a hospital for medical attention.
