Pakistan Ranger Wing Commander handed a box of sweets to BSF personnel at Wagah. On the occasion, pleasantries were also exchanged as the troops embraced each other and wished Diwali greetings.

The exchange of sweets between troops of the two countries assumes significance in the wake of strained ties between India and Pakistan of late.

Earlier, no ceremonial exchange of sweets and gifts had taken place between BSF and Pakistan Rangers during the Independence day celebrations on both the sides.
