Pakistani woman crosses border illegally to meet Bollywood stars Salman, Shah Rukh

Apparently, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are international icons and celebrities who have crazy fans not just in India, but across the world as well. Look no further than Pakistan, if you want to witness a few crazed Bollywood fans. A woman from Karachi, Pakistan was arrested in Jalandhar, India, for traveling to the country without a passport.

The 27 year-old woman is identified as Chanda and has been arrested in Jalandhar. The desire to meet Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan forced her to board the Samjhauta Express train which travels from Karachi to New Delhi, according to the woman. She also said that her documents are with her family who departed at another station while travelling in the in Samjhauta Express.

Speaking to an Indian website, the woman stated,””Agar aap mujhe unse mila de toh meherbani hogi warna mujhe Allah par yakeen hain,” she said and revealed that her uncle had promised to have her meet the famed actors. “Aap Mujhe unse mila de, Pakistan bhej de ya goli maar de, yahi theen cheeze ho sakti hain,” she emphatically added.

The interesting incident comes in light of Salman’s latest film being released, which features the actor returning back a lost Pakistani girl back to her country illegally, from India. The stellar content of the movie and its moving climax, helped it become the highest grossing movie of 2015. It also earned praise from all quarters within India and Pakistan. The theme of friendship, compassion and brotherly relations between both countries was also highlighted in the movie.

Whether or not Salman or Shah Rukh pay attention to the impassioned plea of the woman to meet her favourite superstars, only time will tell. However, one thing if for certain; both these Bollywood superstars have the potential to make people commit excesses in order to meet them.
