A statement on Chinese Foreign Ministry’s website, “China encourages and supports the peace talk between the Afghan government and the Taliban, and commends the important role in pushing forward the peace talk played by relevant parties and Pakistan in particular”.
It was also stated that China has believed that holding talks is the “realistic way” to resolve the crises.
The country hoped that that all parties will make efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
The spokesperson added that China is ready to cooperate with all parties and play its role for peace and reconciliation in the country as well.
