According to a report, the incident took place around midnight when Pancholi was at the hotel’s pub. The report quoted police officials saying that the actor took objection to English songs being played at the pub and asked for Hindi songs instead, which led to a heated argument.
A senior inspector of police said that Aditya hit the bouncer, who tried to escort him out of the pub along with four colleagues, with a mobile phone.
The bouncer reportedly suffered a head injury and had five stitches, while Pancholi was taken to the police station and booked on charges of assault.
The report mentioned officials stating that the actor was drunk at the time of scuffle.
The actor was produced before a holiday court at around 12 30 pm, which sent him in judicial custody till March 20.
Pancholi later applied for bail and was released against Rs 50000 cash, even as the court asked him to submit his mobile phone used in the crime.
The actor was also reported to be shouting slogans and poking fun at lawyers before the magistrate entered into the courtroom.
