PAT announces schedule for rallies in other cities

LAHORE: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) announced on Monday its plan for holding public meetings in other cities following its mammoth rally in Faisalabad on Sunday, ARY News reported.

According to the announcement, the PAT will hold public meeting in Bhakkar on November 23, Sargodha December 30 and December 7 in Mianwali.

The PAT chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri had already announced to expand his revolutionary movement in other parts of the country. He said revolution had different phases and it could only be brought about after hard-slogging endeavours.

The long marches to topple the incumbent PML-N government were launched by Dr. Qadri and PTI chief Imran Khan on August 13, however the government has rejected the protesters’ demand, citing it unconstitutional move.
