PAT plans comeback with a sit-in

TOP NEWS

In his address with a protest demonstration outside Lahore Press Club against the Model Town carnage, Dr Tahirul Qadri said that he cannot let the martyrs’ blood go in vain in any case and vowed to strive for justice up to any extent.

He lamented that now politics is being played over the military courts, while no one tabled a resolution in the Parliament declaring the war against terrorism as our own fight.

Qadri said that the army chief alone is fighting back terrorism in the state.

He said that his party will again consult the high court over non-issuance of the inquiry report of Model Town tribunal.

The PAT chief announced to file a petition for bringing forth the findings about the brutal Model Town massacre.

Moreover, he said that terrorism cannot be eliminated from the country as long as the current rulers are in place.
